Despite his illness he wanted to go with them. Hasta olmasına rağmen onlarla gitmek istiyordu.
İlk gruptaki üç bağlaçtan sonra bir cümle, ikinci gruptan sonraki iki bağlaçtan sonra ise bir isim gelir. In spite of ve despite‘a the fact that eklenirse ilk gruptaki bağlaçlar gibi kendilerinden sonra bir cümle gelir.
nevertheless / however ( buna rağmen ; bununla beraber )

Also yerine cümlenin sonunda as well de kullanılabilir.

no sooner ….. than … ( yapar yapmaz eder etmez )
Bu kalıpta no sooner dan sonra past perfect tense than dan sonra simple past tense kullanılır.
The teacher had no sooner left the classroom than the children started shouting. Öğretmen sınıftan ayrılır ayrılmaz çocuklar bağırmaya başladı.
The match had no sooner started than our team scored. Maç başlar başlamaz bizim takım gol attı.
Cümleye no sooner ile başlanırsa cümlenin yapısı değişir.

Bu kalıpta cümlenin birinci kısmı present olursa; so that ten sonraki kısım genellikle may, can, will veya shall li olur. Bazen simple present tense de olur. Birinci kısım past olursa ikinci kısım might, could, would veya should lu olur.

Bu kalıp so that ve in order that kalıbından daha çok kullanılır. Ancak cümlenin birinci kısmındaki özne ile ikinci kısmındaki özne farklıysa that li kalıbın kullanılması gerekir. Özneler aynıysa to lu kalıp tercih edilir.

Lest pek fazla kullanılmayan bir bağlaçtır ve kendisinden sonre genellikle should gelir.
He changed his clothes and shaved off his beard and moustache lest they should recognize him. Kendisi tanımasınlar diye elbiselerini değiştirip sakal ve bıyığını kesti.

Bu kalıpta that ten önce bir isim gelir.
